The Altarpiece of the High Altar by Jacques Mélair (1676/1680), with its considerable dimensions (8mX12m), is one of the department's largest altarpieces. The lack of unity between the upper and lower parts can be explained by the fact that construction was staggered over time, due to financial difficulties. 1707 The Passion of Christ rètable, financed by the Confrérie de la Sanch and executed by the artist Michel Anglada, is considered by specialists to be the most Baroque rètable in Roussillon. It is built in the form of a baldachin above a large crucifix, with the Mater Dolorosa standing next to it.
