A historic bridge!
A Romanesque stone bridge, first mentioned in 1282, was swept away by the terrible floods of 1940. The bridge you are admiring, built from 1947 onwards, is the only road suspension structure in the department. At 150 metres long and 8 metres wide, it was a unique technological feat at the time.
