A vestige of our heritage!
The construction of a parking lot has brought to light a series of remains that testify to the dominant economic activity of the 16th and 17th centuries, linked to the use of a watering canal: linen weaving. The basin, with an internal diameter of 5.10 m, is surrounded by a masonry ring of stone, tile and lime mortar. It is equipped with a water inlet and drain. The walls of the basin are plastered with a mixture of lime and crushed bricks, as found in all cisterns in our regions.
